We are now living our dream. As a couple, we always wanted to work together, and now we have an opportunity to do just that. We also share a dream or doing something with our working lives that will help sustain the planet we live on. We became concerned about climate change and the poisoning of our oceans, farmland and drinking water. The earth that we live on is a beautiful and wonderful place. We want to keep it that way, as well as help others see what wondrous things we risk losing if we continue to make and use products that put harmful materials into our world. We feel that doing our part to sustain the earth means more than being conscientious about recycling and sharing a ride to work.
We decided together that the best way for us to put our talents to work to help reduce the pollutants that go into our air, water and land is to make products available that are free of toxic substances and are manufactured in an ecologically friendly way. We want to make products available that will help our customers reduce their carbon footprint. We believe that if ecologically friendly products are sold with honesty and integrity, the demand for such products will increase. If the demand for green products increases, manufacturers will work harder to find materials to go into our products that will not pollute the environment when they are discarded. Manufacturers will also work harder to devise manufacturing processes that do not pollute if consumers look for products that can be shown to have been manufactured in a green manner.
